Leadership Development - It's an inside job.

At a time when technology is radically transforming how we all do business one thing remains the same:  No one can do it alone.  We need each other and we need to work together.

Leaders need to know how to build a healthy team culture by aligning and unifying their teams around a shared purpose, vision, and values.  They must be willing to provide the tools and resources to get work done.  They must be highly skilled communicators who know how to listen and tell the truth always-even when it's hard.  They must be able to set expectations and hold people accountable.  And, they must ensure that their team members feel valued and empowered to do work that is meaningful to the organization's mission.

When leaders and teams are ALIGNED they become UNIFIED and if they work as a cohesive whole they get excellent results and THRIVE!

About

ABOUT ME

I live in the Pacific Northwest in Sumner WA.  In 2018, I decided to strike out on my own and create Align & Unify 2 Thrive.   It's my honor to help individuals, teams, and organizations, across a broad range of diverse industries, define and build healthy working cultures thrive and make the world better for all of us.  Because people who do meaningful work and are valued and appreciated and know how to value and appreciate others make the world a better place.

Growing up, and for the better part of 35 years, I worked alongside my dad as he pursued his dream of owning a successful chain of restaurants whose purpose was to create vibrant working families that nourished the neighborhoods we served--both with incredible food and with engaged community service.

In 2005, I earned my MA from Bastyr University studying applied behavioral science.  The focus of my studies was systems thinking applied to leadership and organizational development.  In 2007, after 2 years of leadership development consulting with organizations like Port of Tacoma, WSECU, The Evergreen State College, and The City of Maple Valley Parks & Recreation I went back to the family business and helped my parents and sister restructure and develop Farrelli's Pizza into a very successful chain of gourmet pizzerias serving the South Puget Sound in WA.  I facilitated the processes that established the protocol to develop strong healthy leaders who could reliably create safe, PROFITABLE, fun working cultures based on shared organizational mission and values.  During my time with Farrelli's I was able to help them grow from 5 locations to 9 and from $5 million a year in revenue to $20 million.  Today Farrelli's is still growing and nourishing neighborhoods across western WA. â€‹

"If you want to build a whole, healthy, cohesive team and organization.  Be a whole, healthy, and cohesive person."  One of my the profound lessons learned from Vistage Coach and author Jim Moats.

GREEN & GROWING - ALWAYS

I am obsessed with learning.  I can't stop reading, thinking, talking and applying my learning.  I am the oldest of four girls.  I was a single mom who raised up three little girls who have grown into my most favorite powerful, kind, smart human beings on this planet.  I am a proud GR-Annie.  And, now days I am lucky to have an incredibly loving and supportive husband who encourages me to follow my passion.
