PASSION PROJECT 

In 1997 I was 30 years old and my mom began a long journey of serious health struggles.  It was brutal to see someone I love in so much physical pain--there was literally nothing I could do to ease her physical suffering.  At that time I was working on my undergraduate degree at The Evergreen State College studying human health and behavior.  One day we had a speaker come to talk to us about a relatively new hands on healing modality called Reiki.  The person providing the Reiki simply placed their hands on or above the client and universal love energy filled up the practitioner and then flowed wherever it was most needed into the client.  All that was required was an open heart and the intention to let the loving energy do its work.  I was sold!  I could do that-I had hands and a gigantic heart.  I immediately signed up and attended my Level One Usui Reiki Attunement.  And it was truly amazing.  My mom loved it and I felt like I could finally do something to be helpful.  My kids loved it.  And personally, it really helped me with my own anxiety and healing. 

Flash forward to 2017 and again my mother was unwell.  She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and was devastated, scared, and really sad.  I thought maybe I could help again... maybe I needed to deepen my Reiki practice and literally the next day I came across a class being held in Seattle for Shamanic Rieke and became an attuned Master Practitioner.  In 2019 I became a certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner - which and in 2021 started offering energy work to clients as an additional way to clear the blockages 

Our culture is so polarized right now, fear seems to be the norm, loneliness and depression are the epidemics of our time.  I want to be part of the solution.  I strive to be a force for peace and love.  I am grounding myself in universal life energy and I want to share it.  I am happy to offer Reiki and healing sound to friends, family, colleagues, and clients struggling with physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual symptoms.  As a practitioner I am simply a conduit who holds the intention for healing and allows the energy to serve the client's healing for the highest good.  It's pretty amazing.  Please reach out if you have any questions and want to see what it's all about!
